Chennai to Jaffna: A Carnatic Musical Journey

Hari takes you city-by-city, from Chennai to Jaffna. Along the way, you will hear music extending across 2000 years to include Vedic chants (from Hindu texts, c. 100BC), Mann (temple music, c. 6AD), Carnatic (South Indian classical music, c. 1500s), Ghazal (Persian poetry, c. 1600s), The Raj (British Raj c. 1800s), folk (c. 1900s) and Bollywood (c. 2000s).
